It's strange. How seeing someone you've not met for sometime can make you think and miss him so much more.
Just met Zhaoyan today, after so many yrs -- my pri school friend. My best friend in P1, P2. And she's getting married on Oct 8 to Jeremy. Also from CCHS (M). How time flies.
How often shld we take stock of life? To think -- I knew her 20 yrs ago. But I don't think I know her now.
How much do we know of what our friends think, feel, and wat's impt to them, their priorities, their burdens, their problems... how much do we empathise... how unselfish are we?
Does lending someone money make the person obligated to us? How much can we leverage on that?
I pray for Lixia, and Junqi. Why am I so passionate about bringing them to church?
If I think I'm not good enuff, why do I still want to be a star? Is it to cover up for my real self, or am I really a selfish person anyway?
What is money? How much is money worth? Dignity? Sanity? Other's opinions? Integrity? Own measure of self-worth? "One can't serve two masters."
Money isn't bad -- let me reiterate. It's just a mode of payment -- like NETS. haha.
As long as it's not yours, it falls under the category of things that are to be returned to it's rightful owner. 路不拾遗。Do feelings work this way too? Do not covert? Does tt apply to how she already feels for him?

10 Jul 2005... STOP PLAYING THE GAME OF SHAME AND BLAME.
He doesn't tempt us, we're tempted by our own selfish desires, and we've allowed the devil to perpetuate the shame and blame, and pain in our lives.
1. Stop your game of shame -- find your dignity in God.
2. Stop your game of blame -- find your destiny in God.
A. Make sure your dignity is not dependent on your looks, your bank account nor accolades from superiors or people around you. Whose approval are you seeking anyway?
His sole purpose in dying for us is to take away our shame. He bore our shame on the cross.

Suffering comes from the Devil who came to sack, steal, kill and destroy.
No one to blame -- you commit sin as you've been thinking about it.
Besides, there is nothing anyone can do to mess up your destiny -- no one can rob you of your destiny with God.
Be secure in His love.A lady told me as she prayed for me during altar call... "My purpose comes from pain, when I serve, it resides... like a reminder, to serve the less fortunate."
Trust in His Provisions. To provide for his provisions.
